WORKING TOGETHER TO MAKE
FILMS THROUGHOUT IOWA

Formed by a group of filmmakers to share their talents and draw on each other’s knowledge, skills and connections in their efforts at making films, the IDFG is dedicated to promoting filmmaking in Iowa and to building a community of and for digital filmmakers. The IDFG helps with the production and promotion of the member’s creations and development of venues for independent film in Iowa through group screenings and film festivals and through improving distribution channels.

Membership is open to all interested people who are willing to share their time and skills. Feel free to contact us or simply to come to the next available meeting. We meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month (see right-hand column for date, time and location) and we welcome new faces.

The Iowa Filmmaker boards are open to new members. This is a great forum to learn what we are doing and to interact with us. Join as a member and get the latest news.

Join us, and together we’ll meet the goals of the IDFG.

Meetings are held monthly on the fourth Tuesday of each month, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Location is the Iowa City Public Library.
