From John Wayne to the present, Iowa and movies have always gone together.

All across Iowa, filmmakers are creating and showing independent productions - narrative, drama, comedy, horror, nature documentary, commercial, experimental, animation and more.

The IDFG is open to all Iowans working in film in some capacity, or who want to get involved. This is a great chance to crew on a film or to find people to help out with your film. By working together we can keep Iowa film fresh and vital.
